Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Ironwood Stone Environmental Services Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for landfill records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 279 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for landfill records and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
