Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Amberfield Wilder Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for capital projects, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for capital projects and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
