Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Cedar Orchard Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Rochester. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for meter readings and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
