Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Raleigh, NC)

Bright Glen Foods is a Raleigh food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
