Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Raleigh, NC)

Amberfield Junction Manufacturing is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for scrap and rework and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
