Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Providence, RI)

Cedar Stone Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Providence working with agencies and riders, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
