Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Providence, RI)

Foxglove Fern Energy is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for billing disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for billing disputes and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
