Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Providence, RI)

Clearpath West Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Providence. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
