Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Providence, RI)

Redstone Vale Water Authority Partners is a public water utility serving the Providence area, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for treatment plant data and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
