Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Providence, RI)

Cedar Wren Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Providence. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
