Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Portland, OR)

Foxglove Lakeside Foods is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for ingredient orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Portland. What you will do • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
