Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Oak Inspection Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
