Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Phoenix, AZ)

Cedar Timber Manufacturing is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
