Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Philadelphia, PA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Forge Environmental Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for weigh tickets and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
