Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Philadelphia, PA)

Highbridge Sparrow Freight is a Philadelphia logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for customer tracking and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
