Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Orlando, FL)

Greenridge Umber Foods is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for production batches, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
