Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Omaha, NE)

Lumen Rook Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Omaha plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for machine downtime and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
