Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Omaha, NE)

Foxglove Stone Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Omaha. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for customer specifications and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
