Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Oakland, CA)

Clearpath Drift Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Oakland, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 369 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
