Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Oakland, CA)

Amberfield Quarry Environmental Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for fleet maintenance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
