Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Bright Wren Transit Planning Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 888 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for survey data and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
