Operations Manager - safety and compliance (New Orleans, LA)

Rivermark Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around New Orleans, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for outage response and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
