Operations Manager - safety and compliance (New Orleans, LA)

Clearpath Timber Construction delivers building projects for owners across the New Orleans region, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 104 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
