Operations Manager - safety and compliance (New Orleans, LA)

Stonegate Union Inspection Services Group is an inspection company in New Orleans with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for test reports and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
