Operations Manager - safety and compliance (New Orleans, LA)

Summit Harbor Energy delivers power and gas plans across the New Orleans region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
