Operations Manager - safety and compliance (New Orleans, LA)

Nova Keystone Farms is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for grower contracts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for grower contracts and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with field records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
