Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Nashville, TN)

Cedar Vista Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Nashville and nearby communities. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
