Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Nashville, TN)

Silverline Oak Foods produces packaged foods at its Nashville plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
