Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Minneapolis, MN)

Fernwood Union Facilities is a facilities company in Minneapolis with crews on day and night shifts, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for safety inspections and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
