Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Minneapolis, MN)

Rivermark Sparrow Environmental Services Partners is an environmental-services company in Minneapolis with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for landfill records and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
