Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Minneapolis, MN)

Ironwood Bright Water Authority Group is a public water utility serving the Minneapolis area. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for capital projects and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with treatment plant data.
