Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Milwaukee, WI)

Fernwood Hollow Inspection Services is an inspection company in Milwaukee with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
