Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Milwaukee, WI)

Westbrook Union Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Milwaukee with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
