Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Milwaukee, WI)

Highbridge Keystone Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Milwaukee with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
