Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Milwaukee, WI)

We are growing our team at Redstone Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
