Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Miami, FL)

Cedar Beacon Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Miami plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 188 people based in Miami. What you will do • Track performance measures for machine downtime and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
