Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Miami, FL)

Greenridge Stone Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Miami. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 269 people based in Miami. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for carrier rates and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
