Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Miami, FL)

Highbridge Orchard Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Miami, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
