Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Memphis, TN)

Cedar Quarry Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Memphis with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
