Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Madison, WI)

Cedar Quill Foods produces packaged foods at its Madison plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 764 people based in Madison. What you will do • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
