Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Madison, WI)

Ironwood Cedar Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Madison, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 218 people based in Madison. What you will do • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
