Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Madison, WI)

Foxglove Sparrow Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for client sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
