Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Northwind Harbor Energy and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Track performance measures for service connections and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
