Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Louisville, KY)

Lumen Loom Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Louisville area, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
