Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Louisville, KY)

Summit Corner Construction is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for project schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 194 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for project schedules and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
