Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Louisville, KY)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Beacon Manufacturing Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for customer orders and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
