Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Little Rock, AR)

Silverline Quarry Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Little Rock, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 836 people based in Little Rock. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Little Rock, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
