Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Las Vegas, NV)

Fernwood Thistle Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 103 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for pipe repairs and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing accounts.
