Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Las Vegas, NV)

Summit Birch Energy Partners supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Las Vegas. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for meter readings and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Las Vegas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
