Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Kansas City, MO)

Ironwood Stone Farms Group supplies farm and food customers across the Kansas City region, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
